What type of material are they made of and why in this material?

They are corrugated cardboard sculptures, we use this material because as designers we must begin to focus products on responsible consumption, this material is ideal because it is 100% recyclable and biodegradable, so it always returns to the cycle reducing pollution. We are a Colombian eco-design brand where the glue and paints in water that we use are the least harmful to the environment, we are continuously improving materials and processes to make them increasingly responsible and sustainable.

How are they made?

Each design is exclusive to our brand, a 3D modeling is done on the computer, then a 2D planimetry is generated, it is passed to the laser machine that cuts piece by piece, then the most complex comes, it is organized, it is assembled piece by piece by hand, and finally it is painted, sealed, and waterproofed. As you can see, it has a technological component and a manual component of considerable detail. Remember it is not 3D printing, we will tell you about it because this question is very common.

What about moisture or water?

The products are sealed and waterproofed 40% for interiors, that is to say that an accident such as watering a liquid will not damage it since they have a layer that repels liquids and likewise the humidity of the environment in hot climates. Clear how all delicate products must be taken with a minimum of care.

What happens if a product is damaged or requires maintenance?

Don't worry, you are already part of Cartonmade and for that we have a 3-year warranty for factory defects, and if there is any type of damage either due to warranty or due to an accident, we will give you a new one during this time. It only applies for one time. For maintenance you can take it to our store and we will deliver it to you as new.

What do I do if I want to change a product?

You can go to our physical store in Zone G and without the need for the invoice, with the product in good condition you can change it for the one you like the most or even customize a product. Remember that it does not include changes to custom designs previously made for the client.

What do I do if I need to take it on a trip?

You just have to make the request in advance and tell us if you want it in a box and super packed to protect it on the trip, just as all products are delivered in bubble wrap that will protect them while you load them and how they are super light you will be calm taking it in luggage of hand.

It is very delicate?

Like any product in any material, a minimum of care must be taken, that is, whether it is one of our products or one of another material, it is normal that if it falls it is possible that it will be hit but it will not be disassembled.

How is the cleaning and maintenance of my product?

It is very simple with a brush you can delicately pass it around the outside and for the holes with a cold hair dryer and that's it, it is recommended that you do not expose it to the elements and do not put it where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
